Duration: 3 months
Admission requirements: Students who have mastered the basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology; applicants who are interested in TCM and wish to have a further understanding of TCM.
Objective: After 3 month study of the basic theories of TCM and appropriate clinical training, the students will be able to diagnose and treat commonly seen diseases and disorders with acupuncture and related therapies in the clinic, including various pain conditions, allergic diseases, gastrointestinal problems, nervous and psychological illnesses.
Courses: Basic theories of TCM, diagnostic methods of TCM (inc. tongue examination and pulse taking), meridian theory, acupoints, needling and related techniques, treatment of diseases with acupuncture and related therapies, auriclar therapy, clinical training.
Arrangement of class hours: During the first and second month, study the basic theories of TCM, 3 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon, 5 days a week; During the third, 4 hours in the morning for clinical practice, 2 hours arrangement of class hours and clinical practice for each subject.
