Abstract
This book is an essential clinical and academic guide to master the art of acupuncture point location. It is a valuable compilation of experienced traditional Chinese medical doctors such as Professor Guo Chang-qing, Dr. Liu Nai-Gang, and Dr. Hu Bo. This book provides a detailed description of all the acupuncture points along the channels and vessels as well as important extra points. Each point has a complete description of point locations with their indications, actions and clinical combinations. It also includes various needling and moxibustion techniques along with vivid cross anatomical illustrations. The intent of this book is to provide a clear and exact point location manual along with 1,315 vivid cross anatomical illustrations. Authors
Professor Chang-Qing Guo is a Chief Physician and doctoral supervisor at the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. He is also the chief professor of the Teaching Department of the School of Acupuncture and moxibustion. Nationally, he is the executive director and deputy secretary-general of the literature department of the Acupuncture-Moxibustion professional committee and the Acupotomology branch at the China Association of Acupuncture-Moxibustion. Professor Chang is also the commissioner of Beijing Professional Committee for Modern Research of Acupuncture-Moxibustion. He has been a guess scholar in Spain, Korea, Poland and Singapore.
 
Dr. Hubo works in the acupuncture-moxibustion department of TCM, and mainly focuses on modern research of the theory of acupuncture at the Beijing University of TCM and acupuncture for esthetics purposes. He has acted as chief editor on two books and co-author of six TCM books. Dr. Liu Naigang mainly focuses on modern research of the theory of acupuncture at the Beijing University of TCM and edited one book and was co-author of three other TCM books.
